Getting That Sour Smell Out of Your Clothes
I hate it when I finish my laundry and the clothes smell sour. This is especially annoying when I'm at the Laundromat as the smell of detergent usually masks the odor until I get home and then I have to make a special trip back to rewash the clothes. Time and money down the drain; a double insult.
Here's a pretty good piece about getting rid of that nasty smell. http://www.ehow.co.uk/how_2303450_remove-sour-smell-from-clothes.html
I find vinegar is great for removing all kinds of smells. It's good for taking urine out of clothes (awesome if you have a baby around the house) and is a lot cheaper than some of the products on the market. It's a bit counter intuitive to use something with such a strong smell as it seems now your clothes will reek of vinegar, but luckily it doesn't work that way. You can soak your clothes in water with vinegar added overnight before tossing them into the washer.
